Grades 1- 4 will have one quarter of health throughout the year

THE MELROSE AVE. DERBY IS AN EVENT FOR THE WHOLE SCHOOL.  EACH GRADE LEVEL PARTICIPATES IN A SERIES OF RACES.  THE CHILDREN ALWAYS SEEM TO ENJOY THIS ONE. PARTICIPATION IS ENCOURAGED, BUT NOT MANDATORY.  THIS IS TRULY A GREAT EVENT.
 
Welcome to the Melrose Avenue Passport to America Field Day. The students will be visiting different state stations performing skills that pertain to that state. Students will be physically active.

Each station will have a governor who will explain and run the station. The stations will be 6-7 minutes in length. There will be a 30 second travel time to the next station. Groups may not be able to go to all the stations. Please remind students to wear sneakers on this day. Also, students are allowed to bring water bottles to field day.


 

 
VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
Welcome to the Melrose Avenue Passport to America Field Day. The students will be visiting different state stations performing skills that pertain to that state. Students will be physically active. Each student will have their own state passport(Name Tag)so that they will know where to begin. 
 
The Passport to America Field Day will be held on:

Dress for success! 
Remember to dress comfortably and wear tennis shoes on days you will be attending P.E.  Students may be excused from Physical Education with a parent note for up to 3 consecutive days. If your child is out longer than 3 consecutive classes a Doctor's note will be required.
